This is my first Warhammer 40K post, the previous ones being regarding the volunteer program that was the impetus for this blog's creation.
For those of you who don't know, Warhammer 40K (or more properly, Warhammer 40,000) is a table-top sci-fi wargame. You assemble and paint the models that make your army and you play against other players and the armies that they have created.
In a few days the new Codex (rulebook) for Imperial Guard comes out and I couldn't help but plan a small(ish) army of Imperial Guard.
So here is the sketch. Missile based heavy weapons teams protected by infantry squads while the Command Squads catch rides in the Valkyries and come in from the sides or wherever.
